Eres

"Eres" (You are) is a popular song from the Mexican Rock Band Cafe Tacvba. It was the third single from their album "Four Roads." Debuted as number 38 in the Latin Pop Songs of the magazine Billboard. Won the Latin Grammy Award in 2004 for Best Rock Song and was nominated for a Best Song of the Year and Best Video.

This song has two parts, the first part talks about a mans love for a woman he loves. How he is so inlove that he thinks about her constently day and night. All the while, she has no clue how much he truly loves her. The second part speaks of him waiting paitiantly for her to return his love, and is willing to wait for her forever.

So often, we fall in love with someone and she/he doesn’t even notice it. We are often to afraid to show the person our feelings because we are scared of what she/he will say or if that person is going to reject us. Rejection is something that nobody likes to experience, but it is a part of life. We have to take risks. Nothing is forever. Many of us are afraid of showing our feelings because we don’t want to get hurt. Don’t be afraid you may lose the opportunity to love and to be loved.
